Ms. Aguilar’s practice involves employment counseling and litigation. She has over 9 years of experience litigating, at trial and appellate level, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, unemployment and wage and hour claims. Ms. Aguilar litigation practice includes state and federal courts. She additionally litigates arbitration and administrative cases before the Puerto Rico and United States Departments of Labor and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She also has experience in assisting employers with internal investigations and audits, reductions in force and reorganizations. Ms. Aguilar’s counseling practice includes preparing and reviewing employment policies and handbooks, preparing and reviewing employment contracts, confidentiality agreements, non-solicitation agreements and noncompetition agreements.  Ms. Aguilar also frequently provides employment training for management and personnel.
